Salt Ministries have a permanent safe shelter in Nowra. Firstly established in 2016 through a combined churches effort a temporary shelter was set up at the Uniting Church in the main street of Nowra with over 20 churches getting on board and over 150 volunteers!
The shelter provides temporary accommodation for people experiencing homelessness.
